ABOUT
I am an artist and designer, based in Nottingham, UK. My bold, graphic style playfully explores interlocking forms, vivid colour combinations and moments of interaction. I love to collaborate with Designers, Thinkers, Architects and Creative Professionals seeking to create impactful, optimistic and modern visuals. I have a strong interest in developing artwork for the built environment, enhancing how a space feels and functions for the people who use it.
For 12 years, I earned my stripes as a Textile Designer working for the British fashion brand Paul Smith Ltd before setting up my studio practice in 2022. I continue to work as a print designer and have created designs for Nordstrom, Dickies, MaaBoo, Proctor & Gamble as well as a number of private clients.
In 2024, I designed and installed the painted façade of the Nottingham restaurant, Cafe Roya. The restaurant’s ethical and environmental concerns informed the design, alongside the need to reflect the local vernacular. The artwork was intended to draw the eye, whilst still feeling embedded in the local community.
I work as a part-time Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, developing and delivering workshops on colour theory, material choices, drawing, print techniques, building repeating artwork and preparing students for the creative industry.
